Do not believe that they are non-smoking. The Oak Plantation resort was advertised to have non-smoking villas. That is a lie. Not only do people smoke or do other things in them, but it can be very irritating to those of us with allergies or sever reactions to severe ordors or smells.
They put some thing in the room for a couple of hours before you check in, called the nosinator. Personally this makes the room smell worse for the next 24 hours.
The only way I got thru our 9 day stay was to have the windows open. Crazy to have windows open in your Villa(I'd rather meet a crazed robber , then be sick from the odors for the duration of my stay)
We paid only 35 a night for a one bedroom with complete kitchen and living room with pullout.
As to the washer dryer, I will say there was something that got the clothes wet and never dried them out. Obviously off site and we liked the secluded location. It was nice to get away from the crowds.
As to us doing the timeshare tour(we had the shorted presentation), because they could not sell us a non-smoking unit. They say you get what you pay for and from now on, I will stay at places that can accomodate my smoke and odor sensitivities.
If my experience can alleviate future problems for any other WDWers, then please ask any questions that you want to.
