One bag to check-

We are just checking one small bag to hold shampoo, hairspray, etc. and to haul back souvies. We are checking in about 12:00 AM at ASMu, then checking out the next morning, checking into WL. Would it be better to just pick up our bag ourselves at the baggage carosel? Will they let me carry the extra onto the ME bus? Will it take a long time at that time of night to do it this way? Thank you!

I don't know what you're taking for carryons, but I would try to figure a way to do all carryon. Just use travel size shampoo, hairspray, etc. Each person gets a 1 quart bag. We don't have any problem getting all our liquids in 2 bags and have room leftover. Take a suitcase that is the largest allowable carryon size. You can always check it on the way home. ME will allow you to bring whatever you have for luggage. At that hour I think that would be the easiest. I haven't gotten our bags at the carosel since ME started so I don't know how long it takes to get your bags from there.
