Hi all, :wave2: hoping you can give me some tips. We are going on our first Disney Cruise in January (4 night). We will be arriving the day before and staying at the GF (arriving mid-day).

Since we really only have the afternoon, what would your "can't miss" attractions be for my 4 yr old dd in MK? Any suggestions for a character meal (dinner or breakfast the next morning)? She loves all the Princesses, but especially Aurora (hence my user name!)

Thanks in advance for your help!

We went in May 2004 and my DD was 3 1/2 , she loved the Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Carribean (surprisingly), the Haunted House, especially meeting all the princesses, the Dumbo ride, the Carrousel of Progress. I really don't think that there was anything at MK that she didn't like. We did a character lunch and the Crystal Palace (With Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eyeore) that really made the trip just to see her face when they came to the table. We are going again in June 2006.

We did Breakfast at Cinderella's castle last week, ds was not really excited but you should have seen the little girls around there! They were so cute and having so much fun.

Ds's all time favorite was Philharmagic. It is a little loud (like a movie theatre) but he had the best time there.

If Aurora is a favorite, don't miss the "princess room" in Toontown. Usually Aurora, Snow White and Cindy are together. You have a little one on one time with them. It's a great photo op! Peter Pan and Pooh rides are wonderful for a 4yo, as is Dumbo and Magic carpets of Alladin.

For a character meal, I would recommend 1900 Park Fare at the GF for dinner. It is a buffet (a very good one) that features Cindy, Prince Charming, Fairy godmother and the Mice.

Have a great time!

I would suggest since you only have 1/2 day to avoid loosing time by waiting in lines and walking long distance from one place to another needlessly. Your daughter should enjoy the rides found in Fantasyland and Toontown where you can actually fit a series of rides in a very short period of time.

While the Cinderella Meals have become more of a symbol of accomplishment the 1900 Park Fare offers good food with Cinderella, Godmother, Prince and Mice. Crystal Palace is good food again with the Pooh gang. Lastly, the most popular Character Meal in all of WDW is Chef Mickey's at the CR.
