Once your window opens up..what's the first you try to grab?

ADR's = (compiled our hard to gets from all our trips ) = 'Ohana, Cinderella's Royal Table, Akerhus, Be Our Guest Lunch, Yak & Yeti, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare

FP+:
MK = 7 Dwarfs Mine ride, Space Mountain, Big Thunder. (maybe Anna and Elsa this year if kids are interested)
EP = Soarin, Spaceship Earth,
HS = Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror,
AK = Safari and Expedition Everest, Dinasour

Dan

For ADRs: BoG, CRT, Akershus, Ohana (I only got 2 of those 4, even at 180+10)
For FP+: A&E, SDMT, Toy Story

This time it was Anna and Elsa FP+ got that
Too late for an ADR at BOG dinner but they released a block of ADR's a while back and was able to have a choice of times over several days so got that too

Got my BOG dinner ADR for Dec. now hopefully I can get A&E FP+

Toy Story Mania.

Don't care about A&E and willing to do RD for 7 dwarfs if I have to, especially since I plan multiple days at MK. Since we only do 1 day at HS & we won't stay the entire day/evening (probably RD to dinner or so) I need a Toy Story FP+ that is during the daytime.

It's my first time doing FP+ so besides 7SDMT I'm flexible for MK.

I got all my ADR's thankfully for BOG, 50's cafe, SciFi and Ohana. I actually have three for BOG but not the preferred time. I'm hoping to get the time I want so I can release one.

The rope drop for 7DMT didn't work out for us this year. The line was STILL huge!

FP: Anna and Elsa, 7DMT. After that, everything else isn't hard to get.

ADR: While we don't eat at all of these anymore, Chef Mickey's, CRT, and BOG are the ones that seem to go immediately.

For FP:

MK - we usually do 3 days so 1st day: 7DMT, HM, BTMR, 2nd day: 7DMT, Splash Mountain, Buzz Lightyear and 3rd day: 7DMT, Space Mountain, HM
HS - TSMM, TOT, Star Tours
AK - Kilimajaro Safari, EE, FOTLK
EPCT - Soarin, Mission Space, Nemo

ADRs:

BOG and Crystal Palace are our absolute must go to each trip so those are first to get booked.

Making them tonight - Anna and Elsa top priority - once I have them it's smooth sailing for the rest of it :-)

We do one "Princess day" with FP for Anna/ Elsa, Cindy/ Rapunzel and ETwB for MK that is the day I book first.

ADR- My first grabs were BOG and CRT

FP-When my window opens it will be A&E and 7DMT

which is the 1st FP you try to grab?

How about ADR?

Just curious!

Hmm...we aren't worried about Anna and Elsa, so we don't have much of an issue with FPs. I just go day by day.
For MK Splash is a must and 7 dwarfs once this year (but mainly because they do the pictures and videos now. They started that right after we left last summer). Test Track at Epcot, Kali at AK (only because the kids like it and we ride it in the afternoon before leaving, like around 2 or 3pm when the line is 9 million hours long, lol. Otherwise we'd probably skip it. Everest there, too!), and Toy Story at DHS.

As for ADRs, it depends. 'Ohana or BOG dinner usually first and then any pre-park opening breakfast.

FP+ @ MK: SDMT, A&E & BTMRR
FP+ @ Epcot: Soarin & Mission Space
FP+ @ HS: TSMM & TOT
FP+ @ AK: EE

I know for sure we wanted Crystal Palace for Pooh (special to my heart), Tusker House (my sisters fave), and 1900 Park Fare (CRT was closed while we were there), as well as Akershus (to see the other princesses) and of course BOG dinner.

For fp+, A&E was top of the list because I refused to wait in line that long for a meet and greet (hence the character meals, those were the only other characters we met on our trip, my dd and I both didn't want to wait in lines for that).... and 7DMT because we wanted to ride it a few times in that week and didn't want to give up over an hour in line each time. LOL Peter Pan we made sure to fp+ twice in that week, as its' my personal favorite. :)

The rope drop for 7DMT didn't work out for us this year. The line was STILL huge!

it probably depends on time of year, if you walk fast or stop to take pictures etc. We were there in November and on one recommended day and one not recommended day and we walk fast so it wasn't bad - just the walk through the queue on the recommended day & maybe 10-15 minutes on the nonrecommended day?

When out 180 days came up my first ADR look up was O'hana breakfast. Stitch is one of our favorites and we didn't get to have breakfast with him last year. Then BoG after that for dinner, I was able to get everything I wanted.

When 60 days comes up we'll be looking for assortments of TSMM, Soarin, Safari, and I want to meet Anna and Elsa (not much to the delight of my 8 year old son who wants nothing to do with it, haha). Maybe 7DMT if I can bribe my son to go on it, he's not a big fan of coasters.

MK -- 7DMT, Splash, BTMRR
EP -- TT, Mission, Character Spot
HS -- TSMM, ToT, ST
AK -- EE, KS, Kali

ADR's -- CRT, Cali Grill, 'Ohana, Sci-Fi, Via Napoli. I made more, but those were ones I wanted specific times for and know they'd go faster than others.

it depends on the trip - the who and how long are we there

for my upcoming trip, my niece hasn't seen A&E or done 7DMT, so the first day of FP I booked was for our first MK day; had I not gotten those, I would have tried for a different day. Once that day was booked, I jumped around according to what my personal priority was combined with difficulty of attaining the rides at times I'd like. I booked six days of FP in this order: MK(1)-A&E/7DMT; MK(2)-last day so needed particular times;EP; DHS(1); AK; DHS(2)

for ADRs, I look at our list of where we'd like to eat, what time we'd like to eat, and general difficulty of obtaining an ADR, and prioritize. for upcoming trip, I hadn't booked our resort yet (was waiting for discounts) so needed to book ADRs a day at a time. I used my list, prepared to shuffle things around, but never needed to - I got what I wanted for each day at times that worked for us ('Ohana, BoG, Via Napoli, H&V, CM, CP, CRT). That said, there are only 4 of us and we weren't planning to eat at "standard" times (no noon lunches or 5-6pm dinners). When we travel with my mother next year, will need to stick to more routine times and we will be a larger party, so I am anticipating it being more difficult and us needing to have alternatives ready
