Once you get a PIN code, do you have good chance of getting more?

I've gotten 2 so far but we're not going 'til 2011 so haven't been able to use them. I'm just wondering if means I'm on "the list" and will continue to get them until I can use one.

Also - in regards to booking - is it standard practice to book your vacation at full price and then you are able to apply any discounts that come along later? We need a suite and I know those are limited, so I want to book as soon as I am able to ensure we get a suite.

Yes it is... Don't know if I would call it standard practice, but many people do it, including me!:thumbsup2

I received my first pin code ever this year, the monster code was my second this year - so, I would say there is a chance to receive multiple codes.

I always book my trip ahead of time and make sure I have enough to cover it in total. If a savings comes along, like last year and this year, then it adds to my spending money - I don't have to dig into my vacation fund as much each year to go. But I do go during the value season which does help.

I would say if you want a suite, book it now - and then apply any codes or public offers if they become available at your resort.

I got 2 AP pin codes last year. I've not seen any this year. I don't get any of the others, only AP ones.

We have received 5 codes since January and have used one of them! During the last 2 months I have updated our info. on WaltDisneyWorld.com and saved an itt. each time. Within a few days we have received an email with a code! We are still hoping for a FD code! We pay our TA a little along the way-I'm not sure, but I think she told us one year that once the trip was paid in full you could not apply any other discounts. We always wait until the deadline to finish paying for each of our trips-our December trip will be our third trip in 3 years! Good luck!:thumbsup2

I've gotten 3 since April so far, 2 of them after already booking our vacation.

Between DH and me, I think we've gotten at least 8 this year (one was actually meant for his Mom, who has no email, does not live with us and has never booked a WDW trip). A couple were for kids (we don't have kids). Finally got the Monster and booked that one.

I get at least one most years. Last week I also got the Monster pin via snail mail. first time I've gotten a pin code in the mail since 2004.

Never got one single PIN code. I have an AP, have updated my info, did itineraries, all the tricks and tips found on theses boards and no luck...

:confused3

In all the years I've been going I've never gotten a pin until this year. I've gotten the 20-30-40 pin in my e-mail, the monster pin in my e-mail and snail mail. Also the FD in my e-mail.

I know there have been lots of general public pin around in the past, but we have AP and have always got AP discounts.

I had the 20-30-40 pin applied to my ressie.
