Once upon a time...

After cancelling 2 trips last year due to Co-Vid, looking forward to our April trip.
Looks like this one will happen.

Masks and certain capacity measures (park reservations, mobile order reliance, etc...) will likely be the “norm” at WDW through the end of the year at least.

I hope that isn't the case. We are hoping to go in Nov, but if the masks rules are still in effect that trip will also get cancelled and then I will be really sad :(

Sad, but probably true. I would expect to see masks at least into fall.

I was thinking they would probably keep masks all year. I think it’s going to depend on what happens with international travelers and vaccines etc.

I think so, too. I don't think it's realistic to think the entire world will be adequately vaccinated this year. And a certain % of people will choose not to (or be unable to) get it, so that will keep a significant # of cases circulating for awhile IMO.

Masks will be the last to go. They may stop the ride shut downs for cleanings and ease up on the distancing (they will have to if they want to increase capacity at all - plus how will they control crowds for parades and fireworks) but the masks are the easiest thing to keep in place.

I want one of these when I can finally go back again! Is this something we can actually get??

We had a trip planned in November. Cancelled. Then right before Christmas. Cancelled. Then a huge family trip in February. Cancelled. A friends trip in April. Cancelled.

We now have both Thanksgiving and the week before Christmas booked and I’ve got my fingers crossed those trips can happen. If not, the huge family trip will be rebook especially for February 2022 so hopefully then!

I rescheduled a big family trip from May 2020 to August, which ended up being cancelled. Cancelled the July 4th trip (that’ll teach me to be so excited about scoring BLT std view at the 11 month mark for that weekend). And since my Labor Day week cruise was cancelled, I did 12 nights at Disney instead. Living alone and WFH, I needed to know other ppl existed, lol. I then did 3 nights in December. I am hopefully going for a week in March, even though I will be working all day. At least I can sit on the balcony and hopefully enjoy some sunshine. The week after Thanksgiving is my guaranteed week at Riviera, and I am hoping Epcot will be s little bit merrier in 2021. I always say I work so I can take vacations, so it has been hard to stay motivated at work in these COVID times.

I went 3 times in 2020- February, September, and November. I felt reasonably safe during the last two trips. I’m an essential worker and have been working with the public throughout the pandemic. Disney’s cleaning and distancing protocols were good. I probably won’t be able to go back until this November.

I am vaccinated , but I will not feel safe until the majority of people are. So I hope to be back in 2022.

We just walked in as easy as could be.

Have to say our trip last week was great. Things like line spacing and cavalcades are improvements as well.

I agree...I really loved not having people breathing down my neck in line, And, I too think the pop up cavalcade were sweet and we actually spent time watching some of it when we hardly ever waited for parades,
