Once Upon A Time

Hmmmm.....good point about Hansel and Gretel.

I also think Rumple is trying to find his son. But, I think magic is his greater love. Otherwise, the well could have just returned the son that he lost. But, he used the potion made from true love to get magic back.

DD9 is distressed that they didn't show us if Pinocchio is OK. And, DS13 wants to know if Catherine is back with her true love.

They had to leave us guessing about some things so we'll tune in again in the fall!;) Now we'll be wondering if Gepetto (I forget his Storybrooke name) rushes to Granny's rooming house to find August/Pinocchio.

And the next time Emma sees Mary Margaret and David? "Uh.....hi Mom and Dad." :rotfl:

If he went back, he would still be behind bars, right? And his son had left him.

On another note, I read this online:
Ok, for all of the people who are curious about the next season, filming will resume in July and the show starts back up in October (another 22 weeks)

Yes, Gepetto will have the son he carved out of wood. Will Magic in SB be able to turn him back into a boy? It seems as if it is something that Emma would want to make happen.

I keep thinking back and remembering parts that I loved. I loved it when the guard took off his mask and it was the Huntsman :lovestruc It did catch my attention, however, that he said he gave his heart so that Snow may live and Charming gave him a quick, questionable look. I wonder if, in the future, these heartless people get their hearts back and maybe the Huntsman has feelings for Snow. Could create a triangle. :love1:

I also laughed at the part in the forest where Rumple was talking to Charming and said "There's always my way" from the Haunted Mansion.

And there was something to the exchange between Regina and Jefferson when she said that he didn't have it in him to kill her. Obviously Jefferson knows the ins and outs of the hospital and knew where Belle was. He obviously had worked with Regina in the past. In a sense, she kept him locked up in his mansion just as she kept Belle in the mental hospital. Remember, she told him that he should be grateful that she put him in that mansion? Maybe that was instead of locking him in the hospital. There is a huge arc or storyline there that you know they are going to expand upon next season.

Regarding the mental hospital - who is that receptionist and who is the wandering patient??? Could that be Bae? And did you notice the room where Sydney was kept? It said "S. Glass" on the door.

Didn't Regina say magic in this world is unpredictable? That could definitely lead to some interesting situations, considering magic has a price.

I don't know if someone said this yet or not...

But there was talk about the doors and their numbers I finally caught something :) August's door had a 2 and Pinocchio was the second Disney movie... I don't know if that relates to the other doors but I was pretty proud I worked that much out on my own ;)

Who is Emma?

I used to think she wouldn't have a FTL equivalent and that she was simply the daughter of Snow and Charming but lately I've been thinking that she'll be someone.

But then I think, she was named Emma in FTL and there aren't any Emmas. Hm...

Or Henry can say "Hi, gramma and grandpa. "

This was my kids' first ever season finale, so I explained to them ahead of time what a cliffhanger was, and that the show might end without us knowing what happened.

Fast forward to the credits rolling, and my DD9 screaming, "What about August? Does he wake up? We are cliffhung! They cliffhanged us!"

All in all, Ah-freaking-mazing season finale!!! OOOh, I love Rumpelstiltskin! Just when I thought his true love was all he needed... he does *that*.... wowza!!! I hate to love him but dang! Is he ever a complex character!

That's adorable and exactly how I feel!

Loved last night's episode. It was one of the best season finale's of a show in awhile.

I adore Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin. He is just so crazy and evil. I wonder if this time Emma and Henry will be a part of whatever curse has been unleashed. Maybe they will not remember anything.

I found it sweet that Emma's kiss saved Henry. It shows how much she has grown since the beginning of the show.

It would have been cool if Regina kissed him first and nothing happened, then Emma kissed him and he woke up. :rotfl:

I keep thinking that he looked stunned at the end when he 'remembered'.
I don't think he's the whale from Pinnochio.
Most of the other characters we've had revealed seen to have a clue in their names or occupation.
Ruby/Red; working in Granny's restaurant/delivering food to Granny
Dr Hopper/Jiminy; psychologist/conscience
Head Fairy/Nun
Etc, etc

We know Whale is something of a lecherous guy - remember when there was a huge supposition he was the big bad wolf? He doesn't really like kids. He's a figure of some importance in the town.

I just can't relate any if this to any character in a fairy tale! Lol

Guesses anyone?

ok...THOUGHT I was going to be able to watch the finale uninterupted...but noooooooooooo :rolleyes1 didn't even get to turn it on. Issues w/my mom yesterday. Thank heavens DH set it to record (at least I hope it did) I have refrained from reading any comments here, but going nuts as I love reading what you all have to add on the show! I won't get to it tonight either, so hopefully tomorrow! On the upside I guess the season is lasting a few days longer for me, lol.

Noooo!!!...So unfair!

I too think he's either a bad guy or someone misunderstood. The only well know fairy tale whale I know of is the one from Pinnocchio unles his name refers to the sound but then that would be wail.

I still refuse to believe Rumple/Mr. Gold is evil. Selfish, yes...he wants his son back. But evil...no. Or maybe I just like him too much.

I hope I don't forget everything by the time October comes around and the new episodes start up. But I'm not going to wish my summer away for a TV show...

So my theory about August:
The curse was broken, which seemed to ONLY mean that everyone remembered who they were. I found that weird. So August would still just be a hunk (pun intended) of wood.

Once Rumple released magic he'll hopefully be a real babe, I mean boy. ;) (He better not be a kid).

I was REALLY disappointed in Rumple's reaction to Belle. I know he's all about his son, but that moment was such a HUGE let down for me.

We really needed another 5 minutes of "awakenings." I want to know that Charming not only remembers who he is, but is embarrassed about being a whiny-man.

You may be on to something there. They may have just spelled it that way to throw us off. If it's meant to be the sound wail, a logical jump would be that he could be the boy who cried wolf. (wail/cry) It would explain why people generally don't like him.

But then the doctor element gets thrown in, and throws it off a bit. As it's been mentioned, the characters names as well as professions tend to be in line with who they were...what fairytale character could be associated with whale/wail AND healing in some way? (not necessarily healing health wise, but it could translate into fixing in general) They would also have to be a not so popular character with questionable motives. Perplexing! lol.
