Once the kids do the "big" rides...

do they ever want to do anything else? My DS is almost 3, but on the short side, so it will be a while til he hits 40". I am wondering though, does any kid ride Dumbo, Pooh or Jungle Cruise after the excitement of Splash, Big Thunder or Space Mountain??? I am envisioning (sp?) future trips of jumping from park to park doing only a few things at each one!

I don't know about everyone else, but I know I sure did, and still do as a matter of fact. My Mom has taken me to visit WDW since it opened, and every trip I still had to ride It's a Small World and Snow White. Even now at 25 years old with 2 kids of my own we have to hit the fantasyland rides to, wether the kids and DH want to or not, lol.

2 of my 3 DSs are now big boys and can ride all of the big rides. They absolutely love everything about amusement parks and always want to hit absolutely all of the rides and attractions in the parks. They each get their own map just to make sure that we don't miss anything.LOL

My ds did Splash and Big Thunder, two trips ago, and Space Mtn, RNR and ToT on our last trip. He is still just as eager for Dumbo and Peter Pan as his younger sister. I am 34, and still love Dumbo and the other rides too LOL.

My DS went on Splash Mountain and BTMRR several times at age 3 last summer and LOVED them. Now he's 4 and every day he's been telling me that on our upcoming trip he wants to ride Dumbo four times, then Peter Pan, then Splash Mountain and BTMRR, and then go see Mickey's house! For him, the "big" rides certainly didn't spoil the gentler ones.

Graduating to the big kid rides did NOT diminish my DS and DD's enjoyment of the classics. I think Buzz Lightyear is still one of their favorites.

Just loved Buzz Lightyear, and Winnie the Pooh - I think at Disney, each ride is such a 'package' that they are all just as much fun as the next one! Got back two days ago, planning the next trip!
