Once again Disney excludes DVC

I am sure many of you have read that Disney have stopped the general Photopass pre-pay discount and will only be emailing a discount code to those staying on site.

I have just read that the code will only be emailed to those booking through disney.com or CR. It specifically states that those booking through DVC will be excluded from the offer.

In addition, those staying on site but booking through a TA will also be excluded - therefore the majority of UK visitors. It remains to be seen as to whether they class disney.co.uk as a TA - they usually do!

So once again, DVC members are being penalised for spending their hard earned cash on Disney accomodation.

The only 'official' word I can find on this is from their Facebook page:

The link to the pre-arrival offer is included in a newsletter-style email, note that the link to the offer is just one of many links in the message. The email is called "Magical Musts for your Disney Vacation" and is sent out by our partners in Walt Disney World Marketing. We are currently working closely with our partners to find a way to get this email and/or a link to the offer to all eligible guests including those who book through Travel Agents and to Disney Vacation Club members. If you fall into one of those two groups AND you have an upcoming trip (within 45 days or so) please contact our Guest Support team using the Contact Us information on the site and they will assist you.

So we're not excluded, just have to jump through a few hoops at the moment to get a code.

ETA: Reading further down the comments it looks like it isn't as easy as contacting Guest Support as they are saying DVC members can't get the discount. It is still being worked on though and they should "have an update very soon".

Which site do i need to visit to get the info about the discounted photopass? We are DVC members but would like to get hold of this if at all possible.

At the moment codes are being sent out around 45 days before check-in date. You would need to go to www.disneyphotopass.com then go to the Contact Us section and send an e-mail explaining that you are a DVC member and would like a discount code. Hopefully by the time you go that won't be necessary and DVC will send you out an e-mail with the code in it.
