Hi
have a friend currently onboard dream
for those who travelled recently she says one of the shops is closed ( Mickey main ) is this due to covid ? isnt it where most kid stuff is ?
already not a lot of retail shops onboard a lithos deceiving that it’s close

It is possible she went by the shop while the ship was in port? The shops can only be open while the ship is at sea.

I just got off the dream on Monday and I felt like one of the shops were closed for construction. I could be wrong but I remember hearing that.

Someone recently mentioned a shop was closed for construction or renovation or such. If I recall correctly, the items that might normally be sold in the closed shop have been temporarily pushed into an open shop, making it rather crowded.

Just got off the sailing on Feb 28 and Mickey Mainsail was 2/3 closed due to renovations. Most of the kids stuff was in the open part. Hope that helps!

We were on last weekend's cruise (March 4-7; No. 8 for us) and, yes, one of the Mickey's Mainsail shops was closed for re-imagineering, cramming everything (including personal care items stands) into one shop. The children's store was open; moved pins and keychains stand in there. Merch selection was same as our early December cruise and overall lackluster.

Another update from our early December cruise on the Dream: the patio of the Serenity Bay bar now has cushioned furniture, replacing the picnic tables, and live entertainment during lunch from the acoustic guitarist on ship. DVC desk staffed at prime hours and moved to deck 3 across from Guest Services. ... Only one theater show (Beauty and the Beast) for weekend sailing, on stage four times. ... Hopefully, updates will be forthcoming to add something to the deck 4 spaces that were occupied by placeholder and DVC desks/kiosks. Furniture still there; looks terrible; plus, the furniture on deck 4 interior near Cove Cafe is definitely worn/looks uncomfortable. And hopefully snacks will once again be added to the deck 4 Cove Cafe cabinet to take out to the loungers (ahh), and either eventually do something with the evening snacks cart from District hallway.
