Onboard photography-DCL

Does anyone have any experience with onboard photography during a ceremony? We are planning a vow renewal on the Magic. I am reading that the onboard photography was bad, but I’m also not seeing any pictures for reference. I don’t think I could swing bringing our own photographer, but I would like to know what others’ experiences were before I make a final decision.
