onboard credit

we booked our upcoming 7-day eastern cruise next month while we were on our 4-day cruise last year. we were told that for doing that we would get a $200 onboard credit, aside from the lowest rate + 10% off. how do we prove we're entitled to it? where do we go to ocnfirm this? do they just automatically credit you the $200 for any charges you have on the ship?

Well, I could say that this is Disney, you just gotta believe...but, actually, what a lot of people do is search out an agency that will give you a better rate than DCL and transfer your reservation to that agency, by giving them the DCL reservation number, and they will credit you with the 10% plus the $200 DCL credit and, depending on the agency, throw in a benefit of their own.....
If that seems too complicated, just take a look at the reservation confirmation from DCL and check the cost against the published one then check if there's a discount...(more difficult because of the fees, insurance, etc. that may or may not be included in the price)...Or you could just call....

Are you saying the travel agency will then give you 10% off and $200 ship board credit even if their rate begins lower than DCL?? If so, do you know of the agencies that do this? I will be booking an '06 trip utilizing the DCL 10% and $200 on board offer and would love to know how things work with the travel agencies. Both of my trips thus far have been directly through DCL/DVC.
