Onboard Booking Question...

If I book a cruise onboard to take advantage of the credit and transfer to another TA how do I deal with the difference in pricing?

For example, I am interested in booking a 7 day Eastern cruise in March for my children's spring break. Two agencies are quoting a total of $2342. Disney's quote is $2489. Will I book at the higher price onboard? If so, will the TA change the price once Disney transfers my reservation to them?

Thank you for the advice. :)

First, you need to be sure that the both sets of prices include exactly the same thing...insurance, transfers, etc.

If you transfer your reservation to a TA after booking onboard the TA should give you the price that they quote. Most TAs that discount do so by rebating part of their commission to you, but it depends on the particular TA. You would need to find out their policies regarding transfers.

Thank you Michelle.

I did check and it was for the exact same charges.

I appreciate your help.:D
