Onboard Account Placeholder

I booked a placeholder on my first cruise in 2016. We are now going on a cruise in November. Is the onboard credit automatically put on the credit card on file? How does that work? Thanks!

The OBC is automatically on your stateroom account. Any onboard charges (including gratuities, excursions and other onboard expenses) will be deducted from your OBC before charging to your credit card on file.
