On to healthy living......

Thanks guys. I will get to journals tomorrow, I promise. I should be in bed but I can't sleep so I am on the computer.

Oh Wilderness,

I'm sorry that you are dealing with that. The Y chromesome really must contain all the lazy genes. You are definatley right not to take care of the toilet. He can deal with it.

I hope your day improves. I'm sending :wizard: too.

How are you feeling today? I know you have been sick, so that is probably contributng to thwe stress as well.
Take care,
Beth

Wilderness, I can feel the frustration in your post. Sure wish I had some answers but we've gone through the same types of issues here. Counseling helped open the lines of communication. Now we can talk about it before either one of us gets too overwhelmed and resentful.

I hope you're feeling better physically. Do what you can - the rest will wait.

Wilderness:

Vent away - it helps at least for the short term and better than having a complete explosion at family.

My DH is home and is supposed to be doing most of the housework because he is home. However, I think because he's home, the mess is just that much worse. And then there is my idea of clean and his idea of clean. Not the same thing...

I feel for you and can relate. Usually when I get to the point of exploding, DH puts off my rant stating that its hormonal. But even when I was on the study and the hormone were very level, he'd still put the blame on my frustration and shortness with him on "female issues." OK, so maybe it is my fault...I can take a lot and will gently ask for assistance. ITS WHEN HE RESPOND TO THE REQUEST THAT I GET UPSET AND YELL!

Being overwhelmed is just something difficult to handle...I think you do a terrific job with it. Vent away!

He is going into middle school. He has gotten more helpless as he has gotten older!

He is becoming a MAN. Just kidding! I know that just because my DH is helpless not all men are. But seriously, take it easy and try not to get yourself too stressed. Hope you feel better tomorrow.

Whew, do you feel better getting it all off your chest? :earboy2:

Ahh, Middleschool, when the fun really begins! Good luck :wizard:

You are absolutely right to demand good service for those kind of prices! I'll send my preschooler over to clean for that kind of $$$$!!!!!! JK

Have a great day :flower1:

You have Every right to vent!!! It seems like as Moms we are the primary caregivers of everyone and everything... I have often thought I should go on strike and I try but things get too out of hand for me and I CAN'T stand it! I hope that you have a better day today!!!!

You'd better put your husband on notice that he WILL have that driveway cleared for you tomorrow morning before you get home. ::yes:: I'll say what I said in Beth's journal. Tell him he'd better take good care of you because you are a WISH princess: and he does NOT want all your WISH friends to come remind him of what his priorities should be! :wizard: :p

I hope your shift goes well and that your trip home is a safe one. :sunny:

Hi Wilderness,

I am so glad you don't have to work tonight. I wasn't looking forward to driving in this weather either. Be careful tomorrow and bundle up. It is supposed to be frigid. better yet, come up with an indoor chore, and let DH freeze outside.

Have a great bonus eveing off,
Beth

Wilderness,
I am glad you don't have to work tonight. I like knowing my WISH friends are safely tucked into their homes without having to worry about driving through a snow storm.
Stay warm and protect your back if you do any snow clearing!

Hope you have a great weekend wilderness! Stay warm!
