On to healthy living......

:wave2: Hi Wilderness,
I'm happy to hear you are feeling better. I totally agree about the house going to pieces when mom is sick. Funny how no one else notices the dishes, laundry, etc..

The thought of DS going to school makes me feel sad too. This will be his first year and I have never left him with anyone except my MIL and a couple of times his uncles. I'll miss him :( .

Take care and take it easy your first week back at the gym. I'm sure you'll be back to your old ways in no time ::yes:: .

Hi Wilderness- I am also one of those moms who hates to see summer come to an end. My kids, on the other hand, are anxiously and eagerly counting the days until the first day of school. I love the lazy summer days and all of that free time with my kids.
I am glad you are feeling better. A house that has had a few days with a sick mom can mean a week of playing catch-up on the housework.
Good luck with that!

Hi Wilderness,

I am glad you are feeling better. Don't push yourself too hard at the gym. I can't wait for tomoroow. Katie starts preschool. I love haviong her with me, but she is so anxious to go, it is driving me crazy.

Take care,
Beth

I can relate. My son is in Catholic school. I got called in last year because his desk was messy. This was 1ST grade. They made the bigest stink over it. I felt like I was the one in trouble. They totally go overboard.
This year he has a NUN and is scared to death.

Hi Wilderness,

How are you doing tonight? I'm sorry that you are not happy with your kids school. It must be hard to let the kids go, if you aren't comfortable with the care they get there. i will pray for you guys.

Take care,
Beth

Hi there,

I'm feeling almost all the way better. Boy this summer cold has hung on. I have eaten OP all day so far and started on my water intake. I will go back to exercising next week. I didn't this week either as I still didn't feel up to it. Have a nice weekend.:D

Hi Wilderness,

I'm glad you are feeling better. Don't push yourself, and take things slowly. I hope you enjoy your weekend.
Beth

Hi wilderness,

I am glad to hear that you are feeling better. Take it easy this weekend, okay?

Wilderness, I hope you've gotten lots of relax time this weekend and are feeling all better! Sorry about the troubles with the school - I hope they are minimal this year!

Wilderness:

I was really interested to read about your experience with a non-public school and their strict policies. As a education student, I believe that our public schools would benefit from higher expectations and clearly defined discipline policies. But the situation you described at the Catholic school sounds very strict and stressful for students.

Students need to understand and feel that they are a part of the solution - even primary students - to feel good about their time in school. You are correct that students should not be punished if parents forget to sign homework or tests.

I do hope that you are feeling better. Tough time of year.

Take care,
Laurie:sunny:

Take care,

Hi Wilderness,

What's your schedule llike this week? Are you doing any overtime? I hope you take it easy this week. How is DS adjusting to his new teacher?

Have a good one,
Beth

:wave2: Hi Wilderness,
I'm sorry to hear that you are unhappy with you kid's school. I don't think I would like such harsh measures taken with my ds either. I hope it gets better  .

Hi Wilderness,

I'm glad you are doing well. Sorry to hear about the gym teacher. I think it is something about being a gym teacher. Mine were always horrible. Maybe it is having to smell lockerooms all day?;) I hope you can get it all worked out. My GD has those shoes (I think), and they are cute. If we could only get the emphasis on performance and not nitpick apparrel. I am definately NOT supporting bellly shirts and low riders, but charms don't hurt anyone.

Thank you so much for your support. It means the world to me. I'm lucky to have you as a friend.
Have a good evening,
Beth

My computer has been acting up. I couldn't access these boards for 2 days now!:( The gym has been going well. I will hit it again tomorrow.
