due to the length of the FP+ lines I actually wouldn't be surprised if this weren't at least partially true.

So you are there at 1:55 for your 1PM-2PM Fastpass but there's a long line, then it's 2:15 by the time you get to the entry....they'd still probably let you in.

But if you show up at 2:15 and don't get in till 2:40 I doubt it. I would hope they'd allow a few minutes with a testing period

Yeah, I definitely wouldn't PLAN to be late, just stating a scenario

If everything is backed up that bad, I doubt you will have a problem. I really don't believe that there are FP lines that long without a mechanical problem associated and they always make an exception for that.

Also if you have cleared the first checkpoint before the end of the window, plus allowance, they won't stop you from playing. If you cannot get to the first check point then you need to alert someone or maybe get there earlier.

The longest we waited to get to the first check point was about 10 minutes on BTMRR. We were past our return time by the time we got to our second checkpoint once, but we got through anyways.

But there really is no way of knowing how long that line will be until you get there -- the wait times aren't posted in MDE like SB times.

What I found is that during this "testing" period, sometimes the CMs let everyone through, other times the scanners seem to let anyone through they all turn green, which isn't really the norm. So really what worked for one person may not work for the next.

So definitely bad advice. Or maybe they were thinking it's the same rules as FP-???

I'd want to confirm that too.
