On the DxDDP, can we use a credit card for tips?

I'm not too keen on carrying around cash in the theme parks, because with all the excitement and traveling, there's probably a big chance I'll lose it. Can we use a credit card to pay for the tips at our meals? Can we also use a credit card at the F&W festival booths?

You can use a CC for either case. Or you can attach your CC to your room key for charging privilages and pay the bill at the end. So you don't have a bunch of small charges.

Yes it is super easy to do. They will bring your check and you choose how much of a tip you want to leave then write the amount on CC and then put the food amount to indicate on your dining plan is what I did and never had a problem. It was so easy.

Yes you can use a credit card for both.

But can I ask, why wouldn't you use your room key? It has your dining credits on it and you can obtain an itemized list from your resort about your charges - prior to them being charged. For me, this makes things easier because if there was a problem (knock on wood, I haven't had one yet), I'd rather dispute it with Disney before I leave then to wait and get a credit card bill a month later that I need to think back about if all the charges are correct.
