??? on the DDP for December

Hi! I am planning a trip during the free dining 12/11 - 12/17. Do I have to check in on the 11th to be eligible for the free dining or can I check in on the 10th? If possible we would like to fly in on Saturday vs. Sunday. Not sure what to do. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

You will have to make a separate reservation for the one night but you can link them together so hopefully you wont have to change rooms.

Yep, I had to do the same on our last trip.

The dining would count starting on the 11th, so if you make a separate room only reservation for one night on the 10th, just know it won't include your dining.

Do the one night separately...remember you won't have a dining plan for that night, and you may have to change rooms.

Thanks, I was just wondering the same thing. We can get better flights on the 10th but want the free dining on the 11th!

We are doing the opposite.. we are coming in a day early so we can check in by 12/2/2011 so that we can have the free dining for our entire trip. (FD ends 12/2 and starts again after we leave and I was orig going to be there 12/3-12/10 so by checking in 12/2 we get it our whole trip!)

when I talked to WDW reservations a few days ago they were saying if FD started after your stay, in order to take advantage of the FD, you have to book 2 seperate reservations..the part before FD starts & then the part once it starts gets the FD.
