On site must eat non character.

Another vote for 'Ohana :thumbsup2
I think it's great for both adults and kids and such a nice option to pop to the beach for the fireworks after dinner :goodvibes

The only non-signature that we will consistently pay for is Teppan Edo.

We all love the food there.

The other restaurants we like are Yachtsman Steakhouse and (hopefully it will still be good when in reopens) California Grill. We also have known severs that we ask for at both these restaurants that make it a better meal experience.

Just to say DD is 5 now but we have always eaten at these with her since she was 9 mths.

We are trying Teppan Edo in September with her. I think she will love it. DH and I have been there 3 times already and the food is good.

I love Yachtsmans Steakhouse and California Grill sounds amazing (view alone is worth it) but as we already have CRT booked I didn't want to book anohter 2 TS.

DD can be perfect in restaurants and we leave feeling very relaxed but she can also be a nightmare not wanting to sit still (normally when she is tired) and we leave feeling exhausted (and embarrassed) I just don't want to take this risk in a lovely restaurant lol!

Ohana Dinner gets my vote. DS loves the cocounut race. And we take advantage of being at the Poly to go see Wishes on the beach.

Sanaa would also get a vote from me. I've never done lunch there, only dinner, but it's very nice to wait around in the savanna before being paged. The food is also very good and tasty.

California Grill is on my must-dos (desperatly waiting for them to take ressies for october - praying they will) as the fireworks/MK view is magical. It's a bit expensive, but if given the choice between a Dessert Party for the fireworks eperience + a regular TS for food ..., or CG, we go for CG

Boma would be on my top 5 too. But very crowded and noisy. If I had the choice I'd probably prefer Tusker House over Boma, but since your question is about non character meals, you'd get a rather similar experience at Boma's

Last on my top5 would probably be Kona Café tied with Coral Reef

Oh yeah the coconut race looks good fun. I have just booked here for dinner park hours still aren't out for February yet though so hopefully at 7.50 ADR will be ok for the fireworks.

The food is amazing at Sanaa and probably my favourite 1 TS restaurant. I think this will probably win our last TS credit.

We have booked Tusker house for breakfast I loved it last time DH wasn't bothered by it though.

We didn't like Kona when we went (before we had DD) The food wasn't anything special and we were sat at a terrible table and I was suffering with pregnancy sickness.

Rainforest Cafe would be good for your DD - we went as a couple last week and in our ten visits or so the food and service has always been excellent.

T Rex has good theming too but the food wasn't quite as good as RFC, still enjoyable though!

Our worst on site dining experience was Coral Reef so it's good to see others had a positive experience. The food was sub standard (had to send a plate back twice and settled on the third attempt just to eat something even though it wasn't right) and our server was appalling. We removed the gratuity from the bill - first time I've ever done that, but when you overhear a server *****ing about you that will generally lose you a tip ;)

Paradiso 37 was good too food wise - saw a lot of young kids in there. However our server there resembled a Puerto Rican version of lurch from the Addams family (personality of a dishcloth), did nothing all meal (the other servers ended up waiting on us) and then had the audacity to write a suggested tip on the bill with a smiley face lol. Suffice to say he only got a nominal tip :)

My DDs favourite, completely randomly, was Fultons Crab House, but she has exotic taste for her age!

We did T-Rex last year I loved it (I had quiet a few to drink though) DH said the food wasn't anything special and it was too noisy we couldn't really have much conversation.
