On Poly longhouse requests

can I request more than one and will doing so increase my odds of getting the request granted?

For example, we'd like to stay garden view, not too far from either the GCH or TTC while close to the laundry and quiet pool. We'd also really like to be on a 3rd floor. So my top three choices are Tokelau, Samoa, and Rarotonga.

So can I request "3rd floor at Tokelau, Samoa, or Rarotanga" and am I more likely to get a 3rd floor room by requesting that way instead of specifying just one longhouse?

I think that's a good way to state your request. Requesting 3rd floor first and having 3 building requests gives them other options if a particular building isn't available .

I'll likely do it the second week of December, assuming a good enough room discount comes out (c'mon Disney, announce those fall AP discounts already ).

Haha! Are you actually going to stay at the Poly this time? Or, will you be back to resort changers? I think we are going to try the Poly out in Oct of 2013, So far anyways! Lol!

I am a resort changer through and through!

But, we are doing the Poly this time. I am determined!

For this upcoming April trip I've already done BC GV -- YC GV -- Poly CL -- WL BB -- Poly CL!!!

Hahahahahaha! But we are sticking with Poly CL this time!

To be honest, I don't think the CMs can put that much info into the "request" fields on the system. I would suggest shortening it to say "3rd floor, near quiet pool" All of those longhouses surround the quiet pool so that should work.

As a sidenote, we stayed our first time at Poly in Tokelau and loved the location. Our next stay we asked for Tokelau or Tahiti but we were put into Aotearoa. I was so worried that we would not like the room or location.....but we loved it as well for different reasons. The great thing about Poly is that the resort is reasonably compact and it is not a far walk anywhere AND each longhouse has its own attributes. For example. Tokelau had larger rooms, nice garden views, quick access to bus stop, laundry room, and TTC. Aotearoa had great people watching, we could hear the wonderful luau music at night on the balcony, quicker walk to GF for dinner ressies, and we actually had a partially obstructed castle/fireworks view....for garden price Good luck with your request
