trying to make a decision for our upcoming honeymoon trip in Dec of 2007.. I have always wanted to stay at the Grand Floridian and the points are really no object BUT I have been reading the Allears reviews and now I'm torn.

the choices are GF, the Poly, The Contemporary, AKL or the Yacht Club. we stayed at the AKL 3 years ago ( regular room) but don't think we really want to go there again unless the concierge is hands down the absolute best...

so I'm looking for fellow travelers who have stayed on points....which was best? how was your overall experience? how big was the room and most important - what did concierge offer?

I know we could get a 1 bedroom but we do that now - we want this trip to be more on the special side and think that concierge is the answer...

please help!

Good question. I've only stayed at AKL Concierges and it was excellent. However, our needs maybe different than yours. What are your needs? What do you anticipate you'll need from C?

Is the Sunrise Safari a must do for you?

I would think that because of your impending marriage (congratulations!), WDW would do lots no matter what your resort status was (as long as you were guests in any of the resorts).

Maybe someone else can give you better experience or whom is newly married within WDW. princess: :groom:

actually, I would LOVE the Sunrise Safari but we are leaving on a 3 day cruise on the Wonder that Thursday so I think time wise, I'm cutting it too close! oh well, maybe next time.....we are a pretty laid back couple and really are not looking for much....if we stay at the GF , I am tempted to book the Grand 1 (?) for a 1 hour cruise ...still toying with that idea....

we really just want a luxurious resort, a great pool, a room worthy of the points and an all around peaceful 2 days before our cruise.....

thanks for the good wishes! :wave2:
