Hello, I'm new and this is my first post!

Now that the basics are out of the way, I am the one who is planning our honeymoon in September. I have decided to keep it a surprise from my fiancee so I am all on my own in planning (or so I thought until I stumbled across these boards). Does anyone know anything about the segway tour around epcot? And I was thinking of making reservations at the spirit of aloha show. Or is that too cheesy for two adults? Any other suggestions for fun/adventurous outings for us?

I haven't done the segway tour, but am doing it on our honeymoon, and I haven't been able to find one negative review, so I'm sure it's great! I haven't been to the spirit of aloha show in years, but always enjoyed going, I don't think it's too cheesy for adults (have you considered the hoop-de-doo dinner show? That one is more popular, me and DF LOVE it!) Here are a few other suggestions:

1. Rent Searaycer boats from one of the marina's, they are a blast!
2. Drink & Eat around the world at Epcot
3. Have dinner at a really nice place like Jiko, Artist Point, Citricos, etc.
4. Go to Cirque de Solei at DTD
5. Characters in Flight at DTD

We did the Segway tour around Epcot. It's fun! They don't let you go very fast on them, though, and you have to travel single file, so if you're a speed demon and you get behind a slowpoke it'll make you nuts! Otherwise, it's a very pleasant way to see World Showcase before it opens.

Other fun things we've tried:

• Lunch with an Imagineer
• Wild Africa Trek at AK (sooo good!)
• Parasailing at the Contemporary
• IllumiNations Cruise
• Behind the Seeds Tour at Epcot (great value for a low price)
• Backstage Safari at AK

If you do the "drink and eat" around epcot...you only have to spend money on food and beverage and not an actual tour. There are some great free passports for doing this on the Creative Boards. Natalie (DISname Donatalie) has a great one that you can print, assemble and use. If you look on the Creative Boards look in the sticky at the top called "meet the DISigners" and you can find links to her shared files with lots of great things including the Drinking Around the World passport. If you aren't a drinker, I completely understand as I'm not much of one.

She also has lots of great blank invitations for meals that you can print out and leave for your "husband" to find. I would leave them on the floor in front of the door each night for all of our family and they thought the concierge was so good.

There are also lots of great coupons similar to the invitations. I have some in my 4shared file in the link in my signature. There is one for the "water mouse" that another poster mentioned above but they called it a sea racer.

If you wanted to do something fun for your DF/husband you could set up a driving experience for him. It is at an actual race track and I think it is Dale Earnhart.

* Horse riding at Fort Wilderness - we did this and had great fun!

* Swimming with Dolphins at Discovery Cove - we did this a few years ago and it was definitely a day we'll always remember - http://www.discoverycove.com/

* Spending an evening eating and drinking at Raglan Road - the dancers and band are great and the food is lovely.

* Watching Illuminations/Fantasmic together with a beer and some nachos!

We did the segway tour around Epcot and it was AMAZING!!! There were only 4 of us (me and my fiance and another couple) and we had the best time! I highly recommend it!

I took my fiance to WDW a couple of years ago for his first time ever, and we ate dinner at Victoria and Albert's. It's VERY pricey but absolutely wonderful. If you are into fine dining and romance, this is something that you should consider. Jackets/ties are required for the guys--even in the 90 degree weather we had!
