On-Line Check-in

I am leaving for HHI in less than 4 days. I will be arriving around 4:00 in the afternoon. Do I need to go ahead and do on-line check-in? Will it help secure my building request since I won't be arriving early? If I should do this, what is the process?

I don't believe that on-line check-in is available for any resort except for those at WDW.
