Quick question, we are flying out next Wednesday and I was going to check us in on line because its so much easier, but I never did online check in when we had luggage to check in. The instructions on their web site say to specify how many pieces of luggage and to take them to the “Self/service bag claim” area but I’m confused where do we get the sticky tags for our bags? Anyone done it with JetBlue out of Boston that would be able to explain this to me?

I would imagine that you would go to an area with a kiosk that you would punch in your info. It would then shoot out your tags. But I can't say for sure. I have always flown Song out of Logan. They don't let you check-in online if you have baggage to check. You just go to the self-service kiosk, get your boarding passes printed out, then step over to the baggage area, where they take your bags and tag them for you. Then you go to security.

I did this a couple of weeks ago. I checked in online then when I got to Logan terminal C I went to the self/service line. I did not know what to expect but there were a couple of agents there you simply show them your boarding pass and they print out the tags for the luggage. Very similar to regular check in but you already have your boarding pass. Then they take your luggage and your all set. Have a wonderful trip!

So is there really time savings since you still have to wait in line to check your luggage? Maybe I should just check in at the airport? Thanks for the help, I was really confused!

When we went there was no line at all. It only took a few minutes. There was a small line at the regular check in desk. So it did save us some time.

Ok, thanks again for explaining this to me!
