on-line booking ? - adding day

This is the first time in in 13 years that I've had to make changes to the dates of our trip. I have a reservation made through MS. I'm hoping I can cancel my first night and add on a night at the end of our reservation, if it is available. Either way, I need to cancel our first night. I thought I read some where that if I booked through MS I need to make changes through MS? Or can I modify this on-line?

You cannot modify online. Just call ms tomorrow and they will help. Either you can book the last day also, or wait list it. But all you can do online is cancel the whole thing and rebook a new trip- which isn't a good idea inside the 7m window since your res could get taken before you rebook.

If Disney IT were up to par, you'd be able to do this adjustment all online. But it is what it is. At least there is limited online functionality for reservation booking...

Thanks. I thought that's what I had to do but was hoping there had been some improvements made and I wouldn't have to call.
