On-line ADR, Free Dining Plan Question

I booked my DS and future DIL's honeymoon . We were lucky enough to receive a free dining pin e-mail which my AAA TA applied to their reservation. Booked all their dining ADR's 90 days out, which was July 19th. All ADR's are confirmed.

Now here's my question: Does it say anywhere on the WDW site that they have free dining plan? I have all my paperwork from AAA stating they have free dining. Thanks.

If you booked through a travel agent you may not be able to enter the resort reservation number into the online booking engine. The system will not recognize the dining plan unless it recognizes the resort reservation.

If the reservations are all confirmed, it shouldn't matter whether or not the online system recognizes they're on the dining plan. Restaurant reservations have nothing to do with whether or not you are on the dining plan, with the exception of the prepaid reservations like the dinner shows.

Where online are you looking for confirmation that they have free dining? Are you asking about their resort booking or their ADR confirmation?

ADR confirmations online do not show that. If you are looking for resort confirmation information to show free dining, and you don't get an answer here, you may want to re-ask this on the resorts board.

Should probably also mention that if you are looking for confirmation that free dining is on the room reservation - it sounds as though you already have that from the travel agent. If you call Disney to ask, they will not give you any information about the reservation because the travel agent is considered the reservation-holder. All your inquiries would need to go through the travel agent.

Restaurant reservations will not indicate whether or not the reservation holder is on the dining plan because it's not relevant. Anyone can make restaurant reservations whether they are on the dining plan or not.

Thank you both for the info. We've been to WDW many times ,but have never used the DPP and never when it was free. Just want to make sure their honeymoon goes smoothly with no surprises. Thanks again!

The free dining plan, in practice, is no different at all from the paid dining plan.
