Ok this should be a fairly simple answer but I want to be sure.

If I make all my ADRs with the DDP including the CRT one and when I get there I decide to pay the bill in cash vs. on the plan is that ok ??? Because i did not book with a Credit Card??

I am guessing yes but , I hate surprises like that if they say no!

When you book CRT with the DDP they still will ask for a CC to keep on record but will not charge your CC. They will, however, charge your CC in full if you do not cancel and do not show up.

Once you are there, you can pay any way you want to. They will ask at the beginning of the meal if you are on the dining plan and that is when you tell them if you are going to use the DDP or not. Then if you say 'no', you will not be using the DDP plan, when the bill comes you can pay any way you want to either by cash, CC, or the Disney reward Card. It's up to you.

I would maybe call Disney Dining and just double check. I made ADR's for CRT a few months ago for our September trip and they did charge my credit card for the full amount. We are not on the DDP so either way we would be paying cash for our meal, so now it is just paid in advance. I would think that if you told them you are on the DDP when you made the ADR and then when you get there tell them you are paying cash they would let you do it that way, but if you no-show you would lose your TS credits.

Hope that helps?!

Yes, CRT is pre-paid now unless you are on the dining plan (OP is on the dining plan). If you are on the dining plan, then the CC on file is there just as a hold for no shows/no cancellation.

If she didn't cancel and didn't show up, they would charge her CC the full amount of the meal, not take her TS credits. They would have no way to do that. I doubt she'd forget to cancel anyway. ;)
