Hi. My wife and 2 children(13 and 10) want to go to nine dragons for the candlelight processional. The problem is my 10 year is considered an adult but he eats nothing at nine dragons except half a bowl of rice. Obviously I don't want to pay around $40 for nothing so would the other 3 members of my party be allowed to eat and go and take my 10 year old with me for reserved seating? Thx.

I don't think they would allow this, each member of your party gets a badge allowing them into the reserved seating. Why not eat somewhere else? Do you have the dining plan??

Nope we are local and like most locals(actually everyone I know) we no longer eat at sit down restaurants because they priced us out in their push to put everyone on the dining plan. My 10 year old eats like a bird and wherever we go he will not eat much. In fact he would want the kids menu and that would be an even bigger waste. I wish disney would change their idea of adult to 13 because 10 is ludicrous.

Each person who wants reserved seating to the CP needs to pay for the package. You will not be allowed in otherwise. It is just the way it is and you need to weigh the options and see what works best for your family. Plus, you would have to book the package for 3 then and hope they will seat an extra person and not automatically charge you for them as the rest of the table is on the package.

Not sure it is worth the stress and headache to even contemplate it. So, you really have 2 options...

1) Pay for the package for the whole party

2) Pay for the package for none and try to get in standby

When are you going? If it is not a super crowded time I would just try to get a seat.
