I can't seem to search for this but I know it has been discussed:rolleyes:

What are the onboard strollers like?? Are they umbrella/lightweight strollers? Would they handle my tired DS(4) who is around 42#?

We want to have a stroller for Key West and Grand Cayman. We were thinking about bringing our own but I read that they have them on board for free:)

Has anyone used these??

Thanks a ton!!

We used the ones provided at Guest Services for our DD2. It was a full-fledged Graco model with all the trimmings..down to the tray and cup holder, and big basket. We were very impressed and our daughter loved it. It was great for naps, etc. Also, it was clean as a whistle.

I was surprised that DCL gave such a big, clunky stroller. It was a little tight in the elevators and halls, but certainly manageable. We left it outsider our cabin at night b/c it didn't really fit inside. We were at a dead end on the ship, so didn't worry too much about theives.

An umbrella stroller with a canopy would probably be better, and easier to navigate with cabs, etc.. on the islands. A few cab drivers looked at the size of it with disgust.

We paid $100, refundable deposit.

Good luck!

Anyone knows if it will fit under the bed? I am thinking to bring one as I really need it after the cruise.

The only way a stroller will fit under the bed, is if, when folded up, it is only about 10" high, at the highest pont.
