Seems like I already read about this on here somewhere, but hopefully, you guys can help me out (again)! :flower1:

When we sail on our cruise, can we rebook for other family members that didn't go with us but want to go with us on the next cruise so they can get the 10% discount and $200 on-board credit?

You'd probably have to check with DCL for the "official" rule, but I'd be willing to bet that they don't care who you're booking for when you book on the ship, so long as you book.

I think the marketing rationale behind the 10% is that you're still in the midst of your wonderful vacation (it's not yet a faded memory), so let's offer an incentive to get a commitment for the next cruise before they get off the ship.

Under that reasoning, I'd be shocked if they objected to you booking to include someone else, or even for someone else entirely.

I can tell you from personal experience. I booked for my whole family and most were not on board. Yes they got the discount and 200.00 on board credit. You have to pay their deposit of 250.00 each though.

Yes, you can. I asked if I could book my daughter at the discounted price even though she didn't sail with us and they said yes.

Here's the real question......is booking onboard the best DEAL???? Just curious .

So far it everything I ahve checked has been higher then booking on board. If you have a good TA they will change the rate if it goes lower.
