On a positive SuperBowl note......

....... I liked the opening! Good, strong patriotism and awesome music. I particularly noted the close-ups of some of the team members that were mouthing and/or singing the national anthem. Even with their emotions and focus at being in the SuperBowl, they gave honor where it was due.

I am always pleased when respect is offered for our national anthem and our patriots.

I agree Claudia, it was very moving, and nice to see those players singing. I particularly liked Josh Groban's song too.

Besides the fact that the Pats were in the superbowl I was not looking forward to anything BUT Josh Groban's song.
I love him SOOO much!!!

Josh was wonderful. I also appreciated Beyonce not *jazzing* up the National Anthem. It was beautiful. I had chills.

I agree...she seemed very respectful of the national anthem, which is always nice. Sometimes singers perform it like it's some crazy ballad and just go nuts with it.
