On a Low Sodium Diet

Hi,

My Mother is on a Low Sodium Diet, Do any of the restaurant's offer low sodium foods?

They may not have anything designated on the menu but the chefs are very willing to accommodate. I would note the request on the ADR and confirm that when you arrive and check in for table service. I was able to get an allergy accommodated at counter service as well - I suspect you could at least request the items not have additional salt added, such as on fries, at counter service but it might be harder to find low/no salt options at counter service places.

My Mom developed an issue with salt and she can only have 600 mg a day. She does great at Disney. We usually do TS for all meals including a few breakfast buffets plus Boma for dinner and all the chefs have been great. Last trip we did SOA and even they could prepare something for her. Our next trip in Dec we are doing HDDR. When making reservations under add special request you won't see low sodium listed so select other. When checking in the host/hostess should use the red allergy stamp on the ticket taken to your table so your server will know a chef is needed and usually they come pretty quickly. Sometimes the chef has come to visit us later on to check on how things turned out. Just about any place you want to go they can accommodate. When are you going?
