We are going to be there next week for a few days before checking into Disney and thinking of inviting relatives from Tampa to hang by the pool one day for a few hours. How is parking? Or any other obstacle preventing this?

And I read on tripadvisor to request a high room due to AC issues. Any other suggestions?

Well, there is valet or self parking, both for a fee. But, if they park in the self parking lot and then you loan them a room key, they should be able to get out with no problem. At least, that's what we did :thumbsup2

I didn't know you had to pay for parking plus the resort fee. Thanks for that info along with the card idea!! It sounds like it will be an expensive few days.

This is one of our favorite off site resorts. Amazing adult pool and lazy river. Plus you are super close to a Publix!

I stay there every year for a conference (and then have the hubby fly down to meet me after its over for WDW fun) and its a great hotel. The food has always been excellent, and the pool is honestly better than most of the WDW deluxe pools I've experienced (Stormalong Bay being the exception).
