I just realized while watching Dukes of Hazzard that Gilmore Girls used the SAME set! Holy carp!

Late last year I noticed the same set used in Ghost Whisperer too. GW had a fire on their set so they used GGs set. One set three shows. That's crazy!

happens all the time.

Look at the Disney sitcoms.. going back to Thats So Raven and such. The Raven set is another show.

The interior of the Mister Ed looks similar to another interior (Patty Duke?)

I can't remember which one but one of the shows in the last few years was the house of Brenda on 90210, I remember thinking that is the house!!

Kim

the dragonfly inn, the one she bought (that was the name, right?) was also the Walton's house. I found that really funny to see. also, the house luke bought for them (or wanted to buy for them) that taylor turned into a museum for a short while was the home that the two sisters lived in in the waltons.

dh and I did a tour at the wb studios when GG was still filming and it was really interesting. however, at the time Idid not watch the show, so a lot of it was lost on me, but I remember those two things because growing up I loved the waltons. :)

They used the same high school on 90210 (the original!) and Buffy! I love things like that!

I was watching Jericho on DVD the other day and my DD told me the bar is the same one they use in Gilmore Girls.

The Munsters and Leave It to Beaver were filmed on the same set as Desperate Housewives is filmed on now.

Also the Hallmark movie A Season for Miracles with Patty Duke and Carla Gugino was filmed on the Gilmore Girls set.

I love this kind of stuff! 227 used the same set as Sesame Street...for those that remember 227. :happytv:

The "college" in the older Disney live action movies of the 1960's is actually the original Animation building. For some reason, Bedford College comes to mind but I'm not sure if that is right. I'm talking about the ones with Fred MacMurray.

It also shows up in a recent episode of No Ordinary Family.

They also used 'Stars Hollow' for the movie Norbit.

DH pointed out the gazebo and Luke's diner. :)

I think some of you watch way too much tv!!:happytv:

That's okI eat too much fast food and Del Taco has changed their tortilla supplier and i can tell a difference!!

Just don't mix eating too much fast food with too much tv or you will cut your lifespan in half.;)

just the other day we were watching a movie (it escapes me now), but we noticed the NY streets of MGM (opps! DHS). It was so cool to the kids that we were 'there'. The 'fake' tall buildings of NYC are very recognizable. Now it's bugging me what movie it was...

Thanks to imdb... I guess the set was built for a 1946 movie, but the row of houses were built in 1941 for a Ronald Reagan movie!

It was also used in filming The Music Man!

What a set history!

I work nights....so on the weekends when I'm up at 3am....the TV is my friend.

The Munster's house is also featured in a Don Knotts movie...I think it was 'The Ghost and Mr. Chicken'.

agnes!

a girl on the nanny has Tonys old room on whos the boss the only difference is the wall paper, and some of the scripts are the same but motified... turns out the girl who played Angela and Fran are friends in life, and they use the same producers ..
