OMGOSH, Disneydirect is selling scrapbooking supplies (m)

I saw that when I was reading through the catalog last night. I couldn't believe it either, I showed my DH and he just rolled his eyes cause he knows it means trouble!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Only took them how many YEARS to catch on????? LOL

They are way overpriced however.

I looked at these items the other day & just laughed. Granted, the tub of princess stamps & the tub of Mickey stamps are the same (I think) price at Mikes/ACM - but they have 40% off stamps so often there's really no reason to pay full price for them. But what I found really funny was the price for the set of 3 brass princess stencils! I just got those same 3 stencils on clearance at Mike's for $1 each! They wanted $12.95!!! :earseek:

I got the catalog today and saw the stuff. Other than the Mickey tote, nothing is new or exciting. Plus it is expensive! I love the tote, but already have one that is bigger.

I did however, love the office furniture they have!

I got my Disney catalog yesterday and finally had a chance to look it over late last night. I saw the scrapbooking stuff and was wondering what you all thought about it. The prices are high and I couldn't tell the details of what is on the photo box or the photo album.

Glad to hear you all thought the same thing I did - I really liked some of the items in the kit but it was a kit and you couldn't get the paper or stickers without the album. And the tote was tiny, especially for the price! Well, MAYBE their new VP of merchandising is finally getting a clue. Let's hope this is the first trial balloon and we see more to come.

BTW- the ironing board cover is a pretty good buy. Generally in that price range you don't get the heavy padding to go underneath the cover. I recently received mine and it makes me grin when I do my ironing.

I saw that in the catalog. It took them long enought to catch on.

I agree the stuff is way overpriced but I thought it was funny how the store got sold and they put in new merchandise... Hopefully, they will figure out the pricing thing. Disneydirect is always having 75% off sales so, the deal might not be so bad then!

I also got the Mickey brass stencil on clearance at Michaels! DH saw the catalog... his response   Even he knows we got some of those pieces elsewhere much cheaper!!

I am curious about the quality of the 12x12 album, though....
