This trip - me, DH, DS2, and my 16 y.o sister. Pop for 5 nights - regular dining plan, Kidani for 4 nights - regular dining plan. We were full the whole trip!! We paid out of pocket for a few CS meals for our son and a couple TS also (the non- buffet restaurants).
With the split stay and different credits for each, at the POP we did use all our credits by morning of checkout-switch over to Kidani. But at Kidani we didnt seem to find time to use all our CS credits, we seemed to always be eating! And on the last day, we still had 10 snack credits to use so ended up getting a bunch of Mickey rice krispy treats to take home!
I remember saying to everyone the second to the last day - "now tomorrow we have to eat 3 TS meals, 6 CS meals, and 10 snacks!! Hope you guys are hungry!" LOL it is nice to have everything prepaid but I really think if we do a split next time we will only get the DP for the first half. The only reason I got it for both was because my husband wanted me to so everything was taken care of. Well, now we know! Cant believe anyone wouldnt think that was more than enough food!!

However, judging by the pictures of DIS users that eat at Disney, individual portions most of the time are too much food
