I booked my Feb 26th - March 11 2011 trip a week ago.

Now that's it's booked.. I'm having trouble being patient! Is it just me?

Help!

People look at me strange at work for going every year. :)

I also get strange looks when I tell people I'm going with my ex (we are friends now).

I haven't posted much here so I figured I'd just throw out some random thoughts. :)

Im with you on this one, people at work think im mad, i have never been much of a planner, but since I discovered Disney ive gone planning mad!!!

booked our next trip for May/June next year and think ive picked up an addiction to checking on everything...

hope you have a fantastic trip!!!

I think most of us on here are always impatient for our next Disney vacation!

And planning just makes it better!

Right there with you. I booked my family's July stay at Boardwalk Villas right at the 11-month mark (BWV is my home DVC resort), and now the anticipation has started. The rest of my family doesn't "get it" -- while they enjoy WDW, they're not die-hards like all of us.

DH keeps sighing and looking wistful, then he says "I am ready for Disney." Which is REALLY unfortunate, since we aren't going back until JUNE! And that is contingent on his vacation bid in December. :headache:

I'm laughing at all of you, but, I know exactly what you are talking about.

We're hopefully going in Dec. But, I'm trying hard not to get too attached to the trip since I might not be allowed to travel -- especially not out of the country to a place that won't recognize our marriage.

We've been talking about when I'd go back to work next year and Sept or Feb would be the easiest for me (work-wise), so, I should really go back in Sept (financially). BUT, we want to go to WDW with low crowds! And, so, if I can be not working and we can go on vacation in Oct, doesn't that make it worthwhile for me to not work until Feb? Or, (this is my DWs idea) to deal with the more difficult return that would accompany a Nov return to work.

Yes we've been on the same schedule.. I am going BATTY; especially since we've not been since 2009. Both hubby and I are stircrazy

Hematite, you need to go to WDW in JUNE. Then you can go back to work whenever. ;)

Ummn...June is not going to be LOW crowds!

(I do have it in the back of my head to consider trying for a last minute trip if things are going well and I've been able to pick up a passport by then. But, it would be an EXTRA trip, not a way to go back to work earlier. :confused3)

Luckily most people at work don't give me too hard a time about going to WDW so much. Planning definitely does help with the waiting. I've been so engrossed in planning my December trip I haven't had time to think about my trip in less than 2 weeks! But since that's just a quick weekend trip there isn't too much to plan.

Oh, no, I never have trouble waiting patiently for our next trip that will be in 166 days, 11 hours and 15 min.;)

YES, I feel your pain and not to worry...everyone at my place of employment thinks I'm odd for my many trips to the World. Hey, we "get it". That's all that counts, right?

Perhaps we should start a support group to keep each other sane until the next trip or something.

HAHEHE People at my work used to say "You are going again?"... but now that it's been a number of years in a row, when I didn't go at all in 2009 (sad) they said "when are you going?!?! Why haven't you gone yet!"

hahaha

I just don't tell people at work we are going to WDW. I just say we're going to Florida and that even gets some comments, "You go there a lot." :rolleyes1

me "Yes we have friends there we like to visit" :lmao:

At least your booked - we have 12 months to go!!! :scared1:

We did just go to Vegas though and will probably do a cruise in between LOL

Maybe you should book your next trip (ie: the one after this upcoming one).... that way, you can make the excitement last even longer!@! =)

I feel your pain! :bounce:

We're going in late January. Luckily, so far I have not run out of planning stuff to fuss with. We haven't been since Winter 2008/09. Since I noticed that this will be two years, I've decided to tell DP, "Well, now we go every two years. That's a given!."

Of course, if we both get the raises we're hoping for, that might have to change to every year!
