Just saw this on Advocate.com
This just blows me away! We danced to Boyzone's "No Matter What" for our first dance, and chose it partly because of the fact that Stephen, who shared the lead vocal on the song, was openly gay.

This makes me very sad.
Irish boybander Stephen Gately was found dead Friday night in a hotel room in Majorca where he was vacationing, according toNews of the World. He was 33.
According to reports, Gately returned to his hotel room after a night of drinking with friends, went to sleep and never woke up. No official cause of death has been released.
The members of Boyzone recently reunited, and all four remaining members are expected to travel to Majorca this weekend to pay their respects.
The out singer caused a stir in the pop world when he came out 10 years ago while Boyzone was still at the height of its fame. Gately joined Boyzone in 1993 after answering an advertisement in Dublin to audition for Ireland's first boyband.
Gately is survived by his partner Andrew Cowles, who he married in a civil union in March, 2006.
