Omg! Its Soooo Cold! 1/23/09

Hi all, I'm Upanova and I'm posting this mid-trip report. It's our last two days here at the World and IT IS SO COLD! I mean FREEZING!

We are set to visit DD today and then finish up at Epcot. However it's so frikkin' cold!

Mornings are in the low 30's. I think today this morning it is only 32 degrees outside. Highs the last few days have only reached about 30-40's. I only packed two sweatshirts and 1 jacket and am running out of clean clothes. I may break down and get a WDW sweatshirt today, although everything here is of the "Hoodie" style which I can't stand. Why all the Hoodie's in the stores?

Well, back to the Trip. More coming when I get home on Sunday. OH, and we got a BACKSTAGE TOUR! Am I allowed to say that here on the boards? We have a CM friend who took us around the MK in his car. Although it was at night it was still soooo cooollll!

Go over to the Boardwalk area and they have nicer sweatshirts.
Or the ESPN club.
It may say Boardwalk on them.

I feel bad for you.
You want to go to Florida to enjoy the warmth.
But it is January.
We went in April once and Florida hit a record temperature
for only getting up to 54 degrees on Easter Sunday.

I also heard the strawberry fields took a huge hit of damage.
It is also freezing in Miami.

I was just there at Disney on the first. I happen to walk toward the back wall of the Emporium on Main street @ the Magic Kingdom. I happen to over hear the CM's talkin about the few styles of sweatshirts they got in without out the hoods and how people were really liking them. I am sure that they would still be there but like I said it was along the very back wall and really unless you looked you would have missed them. I hope you are able to stay warm.
