I think it's cool that an 11 year old knew who he was and really appreciated her meeting with him. I'm a music teacher and I've brought up Aerosmith in some of my lessons and the kids (middle school) sometimes look at me with that "What are you talking about?" look.

my friend saw him at a car dealership in Hingham, MA last year and a couple of years ago another friend saw him in Jo-Ann fabric looking for knitting needles for his Mom. They both said he was so polite and down to earth.

That's really cool. I know my DD's first learned about Aerosmith from RnR at MGM. Now DD#1's favorite movie is "Armageddon" and she loves "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" and wants the greatest hits CD for Christmas. I would much rather my kids listen to the "geezer rock" I listen to than a lot of music today--who can argue with a 13 year old daughter who likes Aerosmith and Def Leppard?
