OMG I'm so jealous..DD11 met Steven Tyler this AM (update)

She went to a sleepover at the Daytona Beach Hilton last night...when I dropped her off, the birthday girls mom told me she just saw Steven Tyler go thru the lobby...apparently for a biketoberfest event. Well I am a huge fan, and DD came with us last year to see Aerosmith in concert. Well this am the girls were at the pool...just them and the mom...and who comes out but ST and his bodyguard. The girls mom asked ST if he would meet with the girls...he was extremely gracious and spoke with them all, learned their names, high fived them and hugged the birthday girl. Of course the girls mom had left her camera in the room...anyway, hows that for a sleepover..I am so JEALOUS!!!!

Tom Hamilton the bass guitarist for Aerosmith lives nearby. Infact, my DD and her bestest friend, babysat one night a couple of summers ago! (they were 18 at the time!)They said he has a nice house too!

How wonderful for you're DD and her friend, she'll remember this forever! That's awesome!

He has a house not far from here in NH and frequents a Crackel Barrel in Derry, NH for breakfast with his family. My friend has waited on them a few times and says they are really down to earth people, personable and low key.

My sister met him years ago in Hanover, MA at an ATM machine. She had no idea who he was but her boyfriend did and even got his autograph on the back of his withdrawal slip, she wasn't the least bit affected by it. I was so wishing I was with them that day

I met Steven Tyler's Dad in high school. His father taught music at Cardinal Spellman High School in the Bronx, New York and he was my music teacher. He talked about his son just about every day and there were pictures and all sorts of stuff from his concerts all around his classroom. Aerosmith was the first concert I ever attended at Madison Square Garden.

I read on a post here recently about (Things you've done in Disney World that nobody else has) and one woman wrote that her daughter was celebrating her b-day at Prime Time Cafe and Steve was there with his wife, daughter ,another band member and bodyguard. They sang Happy Birthday to her and his daughter gave her a signed napkin with his signature on it . I hope I got all that right.

OMG! I have been waiting YEARS to meet that man . Can't tell you how many concerts I have been to - I've lost count. He is so............ well, let me control myself this is a family board LOL! This is the first year I will not be able to see them - I've got major surgery planned for 10 days b/f the show. I've joked to my dh that he will have to break me out of the hospital and bring me in a wheelchair!
