OMG I just received my netrition.com order!

I ordered the whey protein powder -- chocolate powder. Imagine my surprise when I picked up that container --- it is a FIVE POUND container! I hope I like this stuff. Okay ladies and gentleman ---- what can I do with this stuff? I'll be needing ideas for breakfast lunch and dinner. LOL!

Would you prepackage it into smaller containers or does it do fine in this barrel it came in? It doesn't need refrigerated does it? I hope not or I'll have to buy another fridge.

I also ordered 4 different DaVinci sugar free syrups -
chocolate
peppermint patty
kahuli Caffe
english toffee

I think I'll also order the coconut one to replace the Parrot Bay rum in my summer punch.

I'm also trying the LaTortilla brand low carb tortilla's. And the Flax O meal hot cereal. Ofcourse I added in a few candy items too. (I had to fill out the box ).

I use vanilla with the Kaluhi one...

use chocolate with the perppermint one for a peppermint patty taste...they are awesome!

glo, do you use a lot of chocolate whey in recipes? Large amounts? Because 5 pounds sounds like a <i>humongous</i> container.

Are you inviting us all over for shakes, Jody? Sounds like you have all the fixins and then some

you use 1 scoop...but they are big scoops...I go through a 12 ounce bottle every 9 days or so, having 1 or two a day.

OMG!! I received the best gift today! Tortillas!! They are wonderful!! I cooked some chicken strips, onion and a few slices of green pepper in a little oil, then filled the tortilla with the chicken/veggies, cheese, low carb hot sauce and sour cream! I forgot something could taste so good! FAJITA'S

They are called LaTortilla Factory whole wheat low-carb tortilla's. They also have flavored! Each has 3 effective carbs and you get 10 for $2.99 plus shipping. They also say "perfect as a bread substitute" to use for sandwiches & pizza.

I am already thinking about other way's to use these. Hummm put some butter, cinnamon and splenda on it then broil until the butter melts!! OMG! Breakfast! I bet you can even toast these! LOL!

I am definitely going to order some of these tonight!! I so love tortillas!! Another good way is to scramble some eggs and add some cheese, roll it up and I have breakfast!! I am getting hungry now!!

The tortillas do have a little bit of a soy taste to them. If you've been low carbing a while, you may not notice it as much. If you're fairly new, and don't like the taste, put them in the freezer, and try them again in 3 months or so... your tastes do change as you go along.

That said, the garlic & herb & the green onion flavors are the best.

You can use whey protein powder to bake with, too... look in the Recipes thread for Bran-Flax Muffins and Chocolate Chip Cookies. You can use it for pancakes, too.

That's interesting, I've only been on Atkins for 10 days and the only taste I can really distinguish is wheat. I'll have to try the flavored one's next How many carbs do the pancakes have?

I made Glo's chocolate mint shake using one scoop of the chocolate whey protein powder and OMG I am in HEAVEN! Thanks so much Glo! BUT -- I do have a couple hundred scoopfuls left in this 5 gallon barrel of the stuff so come on over WISHers ---- we'll have a shake party! Where did you purchase your 12oz container glo? I only seen the 5 gallon on netrition.com I guess it's really good that I like it!

I also had the flax o meal cereal last night. I bought the butter pecan flavor. If you are missing hot cereal give it a try. I think it will take some getting use to though --- but it wasn't bad.

I purchased two flavored LaTortilla's and I have to say that they smell DELICIOUS! They plain one's were out of stock but I'll be sure to get them the next time.

I am getting so excited with all these products that are available. I don't think I'll have any reason to go off program again! Watch out --- my clippie will FINALLY be changing soon!
