OMG I got the time off!!!!

I just started a new job on April 10th so I was leery of asking for vacation off after just starting, but free dining came up and I wanted to book for my mom and I. I put down the deposit knowing I could get it back before July 31st if I ended up not being able to take the vacation...

But I put in for it last Thursday and found out today that it was approved!!!

So after my mom heard, she asked off too and also was given the go-ahead!

We're going to DISNEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so happy because I was so worried about being able to take off (esp after posting on the Community Board for opinions and getting negative replies about even thinking of asking for it!).

Free dining here we come!!!

I think it never hurts to ask all they will do is say no if they have a problem with it.

We have to put in for all our Vacation the 1st week of Jan.
We have 10 guys and the rules for amount of people off is crazy .I thought this was going to be a problem with DVC but so far so good.

great news!! It seems my DH always has to ask off during his interview for a vac. I have booked already. I plan a year in advance if possible.
