OMG! I got a Senior Discount!

I am NOT a Senior Citizen but went grocery shopping today where they offer a discount on Tuesdays. I was happily looking at my receipt to see how much I saved with my triple coupons. I thought I had done especially well since I saved $9.00, I looked closer and saw $6.00 of that was a Senior Discount Am I upset?? No, $6.00 is not bad My take on this is out of all the people shopping when I was, I maybe saw 2 who were not Seniors, maybe the cashier is just used to doing it often. (at least I hope that's the reason )

My brother and SIL got a senior discout at a restaurant, he is 49 and she is 46....he was very happy, he thinks.....

I now have a AARP card and used it at IHOP for the first time the other week! But I am qualified for it!!!

My friend was given the Senior discount the other night at a restaurant....she's only 47 I'm still teasing her...LOL..She thought it was hilarious!!!!
She uses a cane & I think that's what threw the cashier off on her age.

I was NOT happy to receive an application in the mail last week for AARP! I am not old enough to join - so I sent it back to them in their envelope - with the note "where do you people get your lists from?"!! (after I wrote all over it, my mom said that she'd like to join! - oops! she could have used it, x'ed out the name)
