OMG! Found an iPad2!

Went to Best Buy to pick up a camera for our spur-of-the-moment trip to DC this weekend. I asked if they had any ipad2s, not expecting a yes answer. I had one on order from Apple that wasn't even supposed to ship until April 21. I had been making random calls to various stores over the past week and inevitably the answer was no.

I almost fainted when the wonderful salesman said he had exactly the model I was looking for! Guess sometimes it pays to be at the right place at the right time !!

For those lucky few who already have one, any tips or tricks for a novice??

Congrats on scoring the coveted IPad2! I just have the first generation, so no help for you, but enjoy!

My only advice is do not buy the magnetized cover they are marketing with it! It is a real PITA to get it to hold the ipad up. Plus it doesn't provide any protection for the back. I have the first generation ipad but my husband's ipad 2 came in the mail yesterday, along with the cover I mentioned. He is sending the magnet cover back and getting the standard apple cover for it, which is what I have and like a lot.

Congrats! I found one last Friday at Target and then another one for my best friend last night at Best Buy. I never owned an iPad before, but it is awesome!

I actually like the magnetized cover, but put my iPad in a neoprene case when I'm not using it. I also ordered a skin to protect the back. There aren't many case options out there right now, but hopefully more will be available in the next few weeks.

I don't think the standard Apple cover works with the iPad 2, only the previous generation, but could be wrong.
