OMG!!! Emergency Trip to WDW!!!

So, here I am yesterday afternoon, calling like a good disney girl to bank my remaining DVC points, when the exceptional CM on the other side of the phone says she would be happy to bank 187 of my points, but that I will need to book and take a trip, using the remaining 150 points before April.

EXCUSE ME??? How in the world did that happen? Dementia strikes again.

To further fuel my franticness she confirms that I'm going to have a heck of a time finding someplace to stay Thanksgiving week, which is the only time the kids are out of school - because if they miss any more days due to vacation they're going to flunk!

To make a long story short I got with my DP and we have now planned a four-night stay at Yacht Club, Lagoon-view, Concierge for 11/20-11/24!

Our APs and DDE will still be good at that point and the kids are out of school, so it all works. We know it's a very busy time of year, but we're just going to chill on our balcony, maybe make a few ADRs if concierge can swing it at this last date, and drink adult beverages on our balcony!

Oh, the pain!

I always knew the need to go to Disney could be an emergency situation!!! I always tell my girl that I need to go, it's an emergency...yet she never takes me (unless its fully planned). Now I have some ammo to use!! Thanks and have a great time!!

Hey, have a great time! Nothing like those spur of the moment Disney trips to get the blood moving (the money, too!).

I just booked a November trip as well (that we decided upon yesterday..) There must be something in the air!
