I estimated about 30,000 credits for all the costumes. I took 7,500 which is what I will need for the first week and multiplied it by 4 and came up with 30,000. Does anyone know exactly how many credits this is going to cost. I just estimated. I guess I need to work extra hard from now on. I will use every possible way to earn credits. I will: start visiting npcs, play lots of pirates, play some HM, dive and drive, sell stuff, start playing music, make a couple more mules, trade stuff for credits, ned a little on JC. Any more suggestions for credits? Its gong to be tough considering the fact that my mom goes to work three or four days a week because im not allowed to use the computer. Making it tougher is the fact that my dad wouldnt let me play all day. Another thing is that I have homework. Another thing is that I go to school giving me less time except on weekends. Well my mom is expected to go to work this weekend so I can go on this weekend but not next. And I have to earn all this by October 2nd! Well at least 7,500. What am I going to do?!

tell me about it... *sigh* I have about 30K more to go to hit my goal....

It's just an estimate.
If you want help with getting credits we can do it together! Message me when I'm online :)

Is diving or driving really worth it? the time-to-credits ration is VERY low compared to ANY of the minigames...

Exactly. If you were going to do either of those, do not dive. You only get 1 credit if you get one with a pearl.
If you can't really play any of the games well, your best bets are still getting on a really good team in Pirates or crashing Ned's on the first screen over and over again.
In fact, you can sJC, crash the boat on the first screen and end up back on the dock with your 20 credits in only a couple minutes. Keep doing that for an hour and see how many credits you can earn.

That's how I earned many credits before I really got good at the game. :)

yea but even though diving doesnt give you many credits, to me its worth it. i just thought of another way: yeti vision level 3. btw does anyone know shortcuts because i dont want to have to go through that extremely long process. oh and i never thought of doing it on the first screen. usually it takes me three or four screens to finally end the game. thanks for mentioning that.

i have about 7000 credits im just planing on geting them as i bye stuff i all ready have some of the stuff thats gona be on sale

Yeah. Just use the arrow keys to crash into the sides and use the backwards key.

Drive and dive aren't really that good.

Do what I did

Get NPC's early in the morning and you can get them before vmk closes at night again.

Plays pirates, HM etc. a lot

When you get tired that you keep on losing ned by crashing into the rocks.

Play music every 40 minutes.

You can get like 22K in a full day of doing those(depending on how good you do on games)

Actually I played 30 minutes ago and only got 200 credits.

You get 50 credits if you sell the seat.

cries!!!!!! i'm at about 200 credits because i'm working on several projects at once, and i haven't been able to get on long enough to earn credits. here, i'll even show you my schedule:

mon.- dance 6-8:30 (time before that is spent with homework and eating dinner, time after is spent finishing homework and getting ready for bed)
tues.- dance 4:15-5:45 (dance here is about 40 minutes away, so there's no time before dance to do anything, and after dance i have dinner and homework)
wed.- dance 6-9 (all homework and dinner must be done before dance)
thurs.- dance 4-5:30 9again, dance is 40 min. away, so there's no time before dance, and after i have homework)
fri.- my only day free (even this is not free, because being the only day free, my mom usually takes me shopping or schedules doctor appointments on fri.)
sat.- dance 11:30-1, nutcracker practice usually until 4:30 (no time here, cause i need to get ready at 10, and after we usually go out to dinner)
sun.- 12:30-4 (there is SOME time, but i also have homework to do)

as you can tell, i'm rather stressed, so don't take it that i have a bad attitude, but how will i afford these costumes????!!!!!

Well maybe you will only be able to buy a few costumes and have to trade for the others later. What says you have to get every costume? Just pick what you like.

I think I liked it when we had less money and had to make choices.

There are no shortcuts for level 3. You can save some time by clicking your mouse twice when going from screen to screen. It will skip the transition movie. Doesn't matter anyway since you can only get a code evey 5 minutes. You should be able to finish the level under 2 minutes, so you have to wait or the game will just go back to the begining without giving you a code.

When I play I start a timer right after i get a code. Play again, trigger the avalanche and wait to click ok till 5 minutes have passed.

I play the pirates game that gives codes for posters and dead monkeys if I'm on the computer when VMK is closed. I save the codes in a file then enter them when I'm idle in VMK. I sell the monkeys, organs and posters back to VMK. It's only 5 credits for each one but it adds up over time. Plus you might get a Sparrow suit which you could trade for some of the other costumes if you really want them.

I sometimes gather Narnia codes when VMK is closed. I never won any wardrobe teleporters (I traded for some) so that's my reason for still playing it. It goes really fast and you get four codes each time you play. The items sell for 10 credits each I think. However, it does take time to enter those codes and the wardrobe teleporters aren't really worth the effort so I prefer to play the pirates game.

There's always the Kellogg's game if it's giving out codes. Crash the ship, get the code, sell the stuff. It's quite fast.

Yeti level 3 is probably the best investment if it's giving out codes.

The real advice in this post is to play the promo games if you are on the computer when VMK is closed. No matter which game you play, you get stuff you can sell.

If you have mules, take the time to do the first two quests listed under the Q. The first quest earns 300 credits and the second quest earns a pin that you can sell for 50 credits. If your mule has 200 credits, stop in VMK Central and buy the camera. Take a picture of the hidden Mickey in the room and you get 375 credits. That's a net gain of 175 credits, not bad at all!

yeah......... so far i'm thinking of the black mansion suit, the pink hero suit, the blue dress, possibly pink dress, and a cowbot vest........... again, that's a lot to buy..................... i can deal without the pink dress and the vest, so i'm glad this comes out last (i can see how i'm doing by then)......... i was thinking it would be cool to get the green suit because i kinda made a generous trade for mine...................... and now i miss it................. what do you think the mystery items are??? like new things, or more stuff we already have (maybe i'll be lucky and they'll rerelease a cowboy hat!)

Another option... Do you have items you can trade for the costumes you want? If so, try to arrange a trade in advance and have another person buy the items.
