Olympics 2012 Journey Planner - beware

I'm lucky enough to have tickets to see some basket ball at the Olympics next year.

I've been getting frequent official e-mails with info and news. The latest directed me to a journey planner which would give public transport details to get me there.

The suggested journey consists of 1 bus, a short walk, 2 trains, 2 tube trains and another walk.

The journey I'm planning is a walk, 1 train, 1 tube train and a walk.

So if you are visiting too do your own research and don't rely on the official journey planner.

Thanks, I will take a look at that. We have tickets for the closing ceremony so I am guessing that the area will be crazy busy then!
