Last month, I pre-ordered the final piece in the Olszewski Walt Disney World Main Street collection - "Casey's Corner."

The beautiful piece arrived last week, but it did NOT include the First Day Plaque as I'd received with each and every other piece in the collection. I contacted Mr Olszewski and he said to contact WDW Guest Services. Guest Services says that the plaque was not issued for this piece because they changed distributors.

For anyone else that purchased this piece on release date or that pre-ordered it, can you please confirm if there was a First Day Plaque issued or not?

Thanks

Michael:

I can confirm that my Casey's Corner piece did not come with a First Day Plaque. I was surprised- any word if those picked up in-park came with the plaque?

Mine also showed up missing the top to one of the light posts, as well as some signage towards the back of the piece. Did you have any similar problems? I have both Disneyland and Magic Kingdom sets, and this is the first time I've had an issue with what seems to be a defect.

Hi Cory

Did you also order via mail order? (Event services)

My piece has four lamp post and they all seem okay. What signage are you talking about?

I have emailed Mr. Olszewski directly and they are looking into it. It just bothers me that every other piece in the collection has the first day planner except for this one.

Michael:

I did order through Event Services.

I can't post images because I've just joined, but I may be wrong about the signage. It's the marquee above the "baseball theater" entrance- in front of where Mickey and Minnie are sitting. It's just a blank white space on mine. Since the lamp post in question is right next to it, I just wondered if the signage had been knocked off.

Any insight as to when the platform will be available? As a whole, I'm more excited about this one than I was the Disneyland set. The buildings seem more vibrant.

I don't see any signage there either.

I have noticed that my piece does not automatically shut off after about 15 minutes like all the other pieces. (I actually prefer it this way).

I won't be getting the platform. I have all my pieces in a very nice clear shelf unit that I am happy with.
